Winery OPG Miro Majcan is a small traditional family-run winery located in the little village of Vrh in northern Istria. Vrh is known as one of the most beautiful Istrian viewpoints, overlooking Lake Butoniga. In the Majcan family cellar, you can taste authentic high-quality Istrian wines such as “Istrian Malvasia”, a blend of Teran and Refosco called “Veli dol”, as well as “Yellow Muscat”, all produced in a natural way from hand-picked grapes. The estate also produces a limited series of homemade sparkling wine using the traditional bottle fermentation method, as well as homemade olive oil obtained by cold pressing.
